Ron Jeffers, 89, of Belmont, Ohio passed away on April 26, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 3, 1935, in Glencoe, Ohio.

Ron was an indescribably wonderful, loving, loyal and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was the rock of his family. His greatest passion was his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ron was also an avid Buckeyes and Steelers fan. He loved helping others and volunteered for several senior organizations.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beverly Pyle Jeffers, his daughters Terri Valentine (Bill), Paula Lucey (Mark), Leslie Marlin (Keith), 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters. Ron was preceded in death by his father, William Edgar Jeffers, his mother, Stella Yoblonski Jeffers, and his children Carol Jeffers, Ron Jeffers Jr., and Sally Jeffers; four sister and one brother.

Ron was a proud graduate of Bellaire High School in 1953. He served in the Army from 1954 to 1957. After his military service, he worked at Navistar International for 30 years.

Ron enjoyed woodworking, auto mechanics, and landscaping in his free time. He was a member of SBN.

Funeral services will be held on Monday from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.  Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Clairsville Senior Center.
