Ronald D. “Duck” Craig, 66 of Martins Ferry, Ohio, died on January 27, 2026, at his home. Ron was born on August 31, 1959, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Millard “Buck” Craig and Lois Jean Davis Craig.

Ron graduated from Martins Ferry High School and later became a Millwright, working from the Millwright Union Local #1040 in Cleveland. He was a member of the Beckwood Golf Club and a social member of the American Legion in Martins Ferry. Ron enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time at his former cabin at Piedmont Lake.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Lee Craig and a niece, Lyndsay Dawn Hrdlicka.

Ron is Survived by his daughter, Lakyn (Casey) Bergin; brother, Chuck (Karen) Craig; sister, Brenda (Don) Hrdlicka; nieces, Bristol Hrdlicka, a nephew, Christopher (Shawnacy) Craig; great nieces, Ryann and Charleigh Jo Craig.

Honoring Ron’s wishes, there will be a celebration of life service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
