Obituary
Ronald Joseph Conners, 78, of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Wheeling Hospital after a long illness.
He was born September 12, 1939 in Bellaire, a son of the late Kenneth Joseph Conners and Ellen May Conners.
He was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel's Beech Bottom Plant, a member of Neffs United Methodist Church, Weyer Lodge # 541 F&AM, and Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Joseph Conners who died on February 8, 2006 exactly 12 years prior to the date of his father's death.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Mullins Conners; a son, Michael (Shawna) Conners; his twin brother, Donald (Peggy) Conners; two sisters, Annetta (Joseph) Moore and Laura (Larry) Peddicord; 3 grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany, and Kimberly; a great grandson, Colten Joseph; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.
Private interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
A memorial service will also be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Neffs United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 290, Neffs, Ohio 43940 would be welcomed.
