Skaggs, Roger, 62 of Belmont, Ohio died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Country Club Retirement Campus, Bellaire.

He was born near Cadiz on October 11, 1946 a son of Emma May Skaggs Pestella.

Roger was a former employee of Trigg Construction and a member of the Belmont Ridge Christian Church, Beallsville.

He was preceded in death by his step father, James Pestella.

Surviving are his mother, Emma May Pestella of Bellaire; brothers, John Skaggs of Wheeling, Larry and Melvin Pestella both of Bellaire and David Pestella of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters, Loretta Pestella Cuen of Las Vegas, NV and Susan Pestella Erb of Columbus, OH; an aunt, Barbara Craig of Bellaire; good friends Henry and Fran Saunders of Centerville; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. when services will be conducted by Jim Russ.
