Roger Ramsay, 49, of Jacobsburg, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 as the result of a farming accident.
He was born July 15, 1957 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of Stella Lea Graham Ramsay and the late William Warren Ramsay.
Roger was an equipment operator for the Belmont County Engineering Department; he was the owner and operator of Ramsay Excavating and was owner and driver of the Sundowner Truck Pulling Team. He attended Jacobsburg United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Warren Ramsay; and his grandparents, Evelyn and Warren Ramsay and Robert and Nellie Graham.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kelly Otto Ramsay; his daughter, Nikki Ramsay; his mother, Stella Lea Ramsay of Jacobsburg; two sisters, Donna (Tom) Crozier of Key and Beverly (Fred) Greenlee of Belmont; several nieces and nephews; one great niece; two great nephews and Goddaughter, Markie West.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Donald Cordery officiating. Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.
