Roger Keith Carpenter, 73, of Bowerston, Ohio, died October 5, 2023, in Barnesville Hospital.

He was born June 24, 1950, a son of the late Bernard and Helen Kanzigg Carpenter.

Roger was a retired truck driver from J.B. Hunt, he formerly owned and operated his own milk truck and had worked farming and for Belmont Mills. He was a member of the FFA, enjoyed playing euchre and attending festivals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Isaac Blake and sister, Deanna Rae Carpenter.

Roger is survived by his former high school sweetheart and loving wife of 53 years, Lucinda Sue "Cindy" Grant Carpenter; three daughters, Stephanie (Curtis) Blake, Nannette (Keith) McMahon, and Bridget (Kevin) Rowson; a brother, Clesson (Lori) Carpenter; six grandchildren, Samantha (Ryan) Nisperly, Jesse (Emily) Carpenter, Aren (Bri) McMahon, Randijo (Payden) McMahon, Sidney Rowson and Bevin Rowson; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio, on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Don Eberhart officiating. The burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Centerville, Ohio.
