Roger Wayne Barker, 56, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his home.  He was born December 1, 1969 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late James Barker and Shirley Louise Whitlatch Barker.

Roger was a carpenter by trade working with many local construction firms.  He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tommy Lee Carson.

Surviving are his wife, Dawn "Shelly" Barker of St. Clairsville; a son, Tyler Barker of Bellaire, Ohio; three step children, Alissa (John) Weyant of Steubenville, Ohio, Colton Grimm of Wheeling and Trinity Grimm of St. Clairsville; three siblings, James (Lucy) Newkirk of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Debbie Carson of Shadyside, Ohio and Trish Barker of Benwood, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Reid Weyant, Wren Weyant and Brynn Weyant; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
