Robert "Bob" Zavatsky, 91, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died February 23, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born November 2, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Andrew Zavatsky Sr. and Julia Repchak Zavatsky.

Bob was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Martins Ferry Plant. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW. Bob attended East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, he played baseball for Barton many years ago, and he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Zavatsky; a granddaughter, Ashley Ludwig; a great granddaughter, Kacie Solages; a brother, Andrew Zavatsky Jr.; a sister-in-law, Audrey Zavatsky; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Kyanko.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Yvonne E. "Bonnie" Coates Zavatsky; a son, Robert A. "Bob" (Laura) Zavatsky; a daughter, Beth Zavatsky Ludwig; a daughter-in-law, Ruthy Zavatsky; a brother, George (Catherine) Zavatsky; a sister, Carolyn Kyanko; four granddaughters, Jessica, Morgan, Carli, and Arica; four step-grandchildren, Amanda, Stan, Abbey, and Angie; seven great grandchildren, Kylee, Everlee, Javien, Lachea, Olivia, Elliott, and Desmond; eleven step-great-grandchildren, Lexi, Hannah, Caroline, Natalie, Dawson, Addison, Austin, Colton, Luke, Levi, and James; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Visitation will also be held at East Richland Evangelical Friends Church on Tuesday, March 1 ^st from 11 a.m. until time of service at Noon, with Rev. Dr. Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain where Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
