Robert Lee Visnic Sr., 87, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Liza's Place, Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born December 8, 1934, in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, a son of the late Michael P. Visnic and Mary A. Whitlatch Visnic.

He was a retired transportation manager for Ohio Valley Coal Company, a United States Marine Corps Veteran, a member of Belmont Lodge #16 F.&A.M. in St. Clairsville and he enjoyed stockcar racing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Sue Holtz Visnic; a son, Robert "Rob" Visnic Jr., a daughter, Robin Visnic, and a brother, Dave Visnic.

Robert is survived by his children, Patsy Visnic, Sabrina (Kevin) Kurucz, Melissa (Paul) Sheffel, a daughter-in-law Melissa Hammond Visnic, three brothers, Mike Visnic, Donald Visnick, and John "Mick" Visnic; eight grandchildren, Zac Kurucz, Joey Sheffel, Jimmy Sheffel, Ashley Visnic, Jacob Visnic, Jacque Green, Nic Williams, and Lee Visnic.

At Robert's request, no visitation will be held. Private graveside services will be in Powhatan Cemetery, with Full Military Honors.
