Robert L. "Butch" Tyrell, 70, of Flushing, Ohio died December 11, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1949 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Robert Tyrell and Vivian Hughes Tyrell Talarovich Cuiksa.

Butch was a retired coal truck driver and served in the U.S. Airforce. He was a Methodist by faith and enjoyed custom car shows, Nascar races, working in his garage, fishing and art.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Marie Tyrell; 3 granddaughters, Stephanie and Brittany Faulkner and Amber Tyrell; sisters, Brenda Ross and Beth Ann Tyrell; and two stepfathers, Adam Talarovich and Albert Cuiksa.

Surviving are three daughters, Tanya (Bill) Wilt, Amy (Brian Horne) Faulkner and Audra (Heidi Combs) Tyrell; a sister, Janet (Joe) Gray; a brother, Randy (Terri) Tyrell; 9 grandchildren, Dillen, Courtney, Leslie, Eric, Nichole, Elizabeth, Emma, Katie and Timmy Jr.; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dean Myers officiating.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio.
