Robert Louis Jendrusik, Sr., 72 of Graham Road, St. Clairsville went to be with the Lord after a long battle with emphysema on Monday, June 14, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.
He was born at Crabapple on April 23, 1932 a son of the late Frank and Mary Dudek Jendrusik.
He was a retired employee of the R & F Coal Company, a member of the Fairpoint Mennonite Church, an avid gardener and was a great lover of sports and polka music. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Walter Jendrusik and an infant sister.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jackson Jendrusik; daughters, Debbie (Joe) Lyden of Lafferty and Tammy (Ray) Regel of Midway; a son, Robert (Linda) Jendrusik, Jr. of Fairpoint; sisters, Dolly and Helen Jendrusik both of St. Clairsville; brothers Joe, Ronnie, Richard and Frank Jendrusik all of St. Clairsville; grandchildren Lori Hoffman, Michael Lyden, Kristen Lyden, Christopher and Ryan Regel and great granddaughter Brianna Marie Hoffman.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Darrell McVay officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
