Obituary
Robert "Slick" Sickimich, 83, of Maynard Rd., St. Clairsville, died June 4, 2017 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
He was born January 10, 1934 in Powhatan Point, Ohio a son of the late Sava and Mary Planey Sickimich.
Bob was a retired welder from Consolidation Coal Company and Gradal Corporation. He was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville; a member of the American Legion Post #666 in Maynard and Life Member of Maynard Sportsman's Club. Slick also was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and a nephew.
Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Julia Bunny Dunder Sickimich; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Buck Kowalcyk and Ron and Irene Dunder; six nieces and one great nephew.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Adam Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
