Robert Luther Hoffman Jr., 74, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Bellaire, died May 9, 2026, in WVU Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 31, 1951, in Bellaire, son of the late Mary Ann Coseo Hoffman and Robert L. Hoffman Sr.

Rob was a former coal miner, steel worker and retired from Global Security. He was a member of New Life Church in Wheeling; a member of the Sons of Italy and a member of the Elks Lodge in Bellaire. Rob enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching his Cleveland Browns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leah M. Turner Hoffman and a brother, Louis Hoffman.

Surviving are Robert’s daughter, Lisa (John) Schuster; a sister, Anna Marie Hoffman; sisters-in-law, Ardeth (Joe), and Dorothea; brother-in-law, R. C. (Julie); his grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m. at the New Life Church in Wheeling.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family of Robert Hoffman.
