Robert A Harris, 71 of Spring St., Flushing, Ohio passed into eternity on Saturday, June 21, 2008 surrounded by his loving family at home.

He was born April 20, 1937 in Union Township, a son of the late Benjamin and Kathryn Harris.

He was retired from Delacandro Sand and Gravel in Westerville and a veteran employee of Cravat Coal Company, Cadiz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Glen Harris; and a grandson, Roy Grafton, Jr.

Surviving are his devoted children, Cindy (Tom) Cook of Glen Dale, WVa., Susan (Roy) Grafton of Flushing, Robert Allen Harris of Columbus; and the mother of his children, Dorothy Harris; also surviving is his pride and joy, grandson, Edwin Robert Grafton of Flushing.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Clark officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
