Robert E. "Bob" Homan, 69, of Glencoe, Ohio, died at home Sunday, December 6, 2015.
He was born July 7, 1946 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Ernest Homan and Mary Underwood Homan.
Bob was a retired coal miner from Saginaw Mining and American Energy Corp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending quality time with family and he loved his pets.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James and William Homan; two sisters, Dolores Kofhmel and Helen Homan Dilly.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Waterman Homan; two sons, Timothy (Grace) Homan of Anchorage, Alaska and Ernest (Lisa) Homan of Johnstown, Ohio; three grandchildren, Christopher Homan, Kelly Ralston and Jonathan Ralston; two sisters, Janet McCloud of Barnesville and Judy (Mike) Moore of Shadyside; two brothers, Ralph (Nikki) Homan and Randy (Susie) Homan all of Glencoe; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Cheatham officiating. Burial will be in Warnock Cemetery with a dinner to follow at the Glencoe American Legion.
