Robert William Donley, 83, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died July 30, 2020 in Forest Hill Care Center.

He was born May 29, 1937 in Barton, Ohio, son of the late Elwood E. and Emma Schwender Donley.

Robert had worked at Belco Works and was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Sindeldecker, Emma Decrease, Rose Jafrate and Catherine Sindeldecker; and three brothers, Elwood Edward, Paul and Richard Donley.

Surviving are his sister, Delores Jean Fogle of Elm Grove, West Virginia; nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing and facial coverings will be required during a visitation held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with private services held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.  Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thoburn United Methodist Church or Belmont County Animal Shelter.
