Robert George Closterman, 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his home. He was born November 2, 1943, in Passaic New Jersey, son of the late George Closterman and Adrianna Pekaar Sambuco.

Robert was an engineer technician for the West Virginia Division of Highways, a member of the NRA, Marshall County Hunting & Fishing Club, and a United States Navy Veteran. Robert was a boiler-repairman at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida.

Robert is survived by his daughters Christa Demarest and Gloree Centeno, grandson, John Closterman, two more grandchildren and a sister, Fredericka Wieme.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
