Robert Franklin Baker, Sr., 83, of Bellaire, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his home. He was born June 25, 1939, in Dilles Bottom, OH., a son of the late Harry Franklin and Elsie Jane Bennington Baker.

Robert was retired as a Stationary Engineer for Ohio Edison's former R.E. Burger Power Plant in Dilles Bottom. Robert enjoyed hunting and was a good mechanic. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a member of Shadyside Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lou Baker in 2015; a brother, Richard Eugene Baker.

Surviving are his children, Robert Franklin (Lois) Baker, Jr. of Smithfield, OH., Barbara Ellen (Robert E. Lee, III) Baker of Smyrna, GA and Ron (Julie) Baker of St. Clairsville, OH; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one on the way.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Rev. Dr. Dennis Hancock officiating. Final arrangements at the convenience of the family.
