Bell, Robert Lee Allen, 75 of Glencoe, Ohio died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born January 15, 1937 in Shadyside, Ohio, a son of the late Osburne Clovis Bell and Hazel Billitter Bell.

Bob was a retired coal miner from North American Coal's No. 3 mine and a U.S. Air Force veteran; a member of Glencoe American Legion and the Neffs Rod & Gun Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan J. Kelly Bell; a son, William Allen Bell; sisters, Mary Gorrell and Viola Funkhouser; a brother, Clovis Bell.

Surviving are four children, Robert (Donna) Bell, Jr. of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Randy (Lisa) Bell of Glencoe, Peggy Bell of Glencoe, and Brian (Penny) Bell of Glencoe; extended family, Cathy Hughes and Cara Burdine of Glencoe; sisters, Dorothy Jeffers of Belmont, and Geraldine West of Centerville; a brother, Charles Bell of Warnock; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m.

A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Glencoe Cemetery.

Belmont County Council of American Legions will provide full military honors at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
