Robert L. "Rob" Visnic Jr., 47, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died June 4, 2017 in Bristol, Tennessee. He was born January 21, 1970 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of Robert L. Visnic Sr. and the Late Martha Sue Holtz Visnic. Rob was a transportation manager for Ohio Valley Coal Co. He was a 1988 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. He loved his children and enjoyed attending their events. Surviving in addition to his father, Robert of St. Clairsville are his wife of 21 years, Melissa Hammond Visnic; two children, Ashley and Jacob Visnic; two sisters, Sabrina (Kevin) Kurucz of St. Clairsville, Melissa (Paul) Sheffel of Newport, Kentucky; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Vern Hammond of Jacobsburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian (Melissa) Hammond of Marietta, Georgia; four nephews, Zac Kurucz, Joey and Jimmy Sheffel and Austin Hammond; a niece, Abigail Hammond. Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with Wayne Clark officiating. Private burial will be held in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
