Rita Jane Zanders, 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died June 7, 2022, in Park Health Center.

She was born August 21, 1941, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Domenic and Lyda Capitini Santavicca.

Rita retired in 2000 after a 30-year career as an educator having taught High School Business. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, F. William "Bill" Zanders; a brother, Pete (Dolly) Santavicca; nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Mark) Smith, Nicole (Tom) Caldwell and P.J. Santavicca.

At Rita's request there will be no public visitation or service. Private services with Father Dave Cornett will be held at a later date for the family.
