Richard John "Ricky" Kurucz, 50, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died February 24, 2022, in OSU Wexner Medical Center.

He was born October 9, 1971, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of Rosemarie Vetula Kurucz and the late Robert J. Kurucz.

Rick was a proud father and best friend to his son, a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He was employed as a tool and die supervisor at Tecnocap in Glen Dale, WV. He was a Catholic by faith, a member of Pine Valley Sportsman's Club and the Fairpoint Polish Club. An avid outdoorsman, Ricky especially enjoyed riding four wheelers, hunting ginseng and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Rosemarie, Rick is survived by his loving wife, Angel Taylor Kurucz; a son, Jake Kurucz; three siblings, Lisa Marbais and her late husband, Larry, Robert (Karen) Kurucz, and Randy Kurucz; his mother and father-in-law, Norie and Herb Taylor; brothers and sister-in-law, Herb Taylor Jr., Danny (Christine) Taylor, and Laura Weigand; nieces and nephews; and his cat George.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Angel for a college fund being set up for Jake Kurucz.
