Richard Lee Jones ("Rick"), a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the age of 67.

Born on January 24, 1957, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, Rick spent his life as a dedicated and hardworking individual. He retired from a successful career as a heavy equipment and crane operator.

Rick was a devoted family man, cherishing his time with his loved ones. He had a deep bond with his grandson, Colton, and enjoyed spending quality time together. Rick was also known for his compassionate nature, often rescuing animals in need.

A simple man with a big heart, Rick lived a fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and hard work. He had a knack for making people smile with his infectious sense of humor and genuine kindness.

Rick is survived by his former spouse and friend of 30 years, Carol Jones; his sons, Ross Jones (Kayla) of Pittsburgh, PA, and Collin Jones of Barnesville, OH; his daughter Christa Stonebraker (Jeff) of Columbus, OH; his grandson, Colton Jones; his brother Bruce Jones and his sister Sharon Holstein. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Doris Jones.

A memorial service for Rick will be held on Thursday, August 29th, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
