Richard Edward "Bubba" Goletz, 46, of Maynard, Ohio died June 23, 2017 in OSU Medical Center, Columbus. He was born in Wheeling, WV October 17, 1970 son of Frank A. and Marianne Dorsch Goletz. Rick was a pharmacy technician and firefighter with the Brisben Volunteer Fire Dept. and formerly with Maynard Community VFD. Bubba enjoyed bowling and making people smile. Rick is survived by his loving wife of eleven years, Carrie Drake Goletz; 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Jeannie Goletz, Michael (Michelle) Goletz, Susan (Bob) Slevin, Jay (Julie) Goletz and Molly (Dave) Siefert; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Diane Drake and Richard Drake; brothers-in-law, Brian and Scott Drake; nieces, nephews, and great nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Father Virgil Reischman officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
