Saunders, Richard Allen (Rick), 42, of Wintersville, Ohio, died unexpectedly March 20, 2011 at home. He was born November 29, 1968 in Maryland. He was the son of William O. and the late Mary Jane Saunders of Bellaire, Ohio.

Rick was a 1987 graduate of Bellaire High School and Belmont Career Center where he studied Auto Body. He was a Methodist, attended First United Methodist Church in Bellaire, and was employed as a service technician for Mikes Appliances in Steubenville. Rick loved spending time with his daughters, family and friends, and had a passion for raising Dobermans.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Jane Saunders, of Bellaire, Grandfather William O. Saunders, Sr. his biological father, James Mills and brother Jimmy Mills, of Virginia.

Surviving in addition to his Father, are his beloved daughters, Ericka Richele Queen of Columbus, and Kalyn Marissa Saunders of Brilliant; Grandmother Genevieve Saunders of Neffs; sisters, Corina (Salim) Huston-Shaikh and Deanna (James) Bass of Marysville; nieces and nephews who dearly loved him: Sean, Jocelyn and Kayla Huston, Kristin and Tyler Bass, great nephew Jacob (Jake) Fisher and great nieces Savannah Huston and Kendle Thoburn. His biological mother, Brenda Castle Harris of Maryland died March 22, 2011. He is also survived by his sister, Angela White and William O. Saunders second wife, Dot Morgenstern Saunders. He will be missed by all of his family and friends, including Bob Clark of Wintersville.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with services to be held Saturday at 2pm with Bishop Michael Tolliver officiating. Interment at Belmont Memorial Park.
