Richard Dyrdek Johnson, 88, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at Trinity West in Steubenville, Ohio.  He was born on April 16th, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan a son of the late John and Della Dyrdek Johnson.

Richard was a 1955 Graduate of St. Clairsville High School and proudly served in the United States Airforce.

He was employed for a short time at Riesbeck's grocery, and then transitioned to Mobay/Bayer Chemical Corp. He retired after 33years in 1997.

He enjoyed remodeling and flipping houses, playing cards, snow skiing, wind surfing, and boating at Seneca Lake. He was an avid bowler and had several 300 games.

Richard greatly enjoyed time with his Grandchildren. He was a member of the Bellaire Eagles, The Bellaire American legion, the Bellaire VFW, and the Sons of Italy.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by two brothers, John and David Johnson and an infant sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Angelina "Angie" Meholovitch Johnson: two children Todd (Stephanie) Johnson and Jennifer (Paul) DeBlasis: grandchildren Leila, Matija, Aryanna, Aaralyn Johnson, Samantha (Lloyd) Box, Angelle (Chandler) Kilburn; one Great-grandchild, R.J. Box and one great-grandchild on the way; a sister-in-law, Sandra Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held.
