Richard Lee Jendrusik Sr., 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died October 8, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born October 24, 1944, at home in St. Clairsville, a son of the late Frank Jendrusik and Mary Dudek Jendrusik.

Richard was a retired coal miner. He was a former employee of Dudek Coal Company, Saginaw Mining Company, and Ohio River Collieries Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Audrey Arigoni Jendrusik; an infant son, Michael Lee Jendrusik; three sisters, Stella, Helen and Delores "Dolly" Jendrusik; five brothers, Walter, Frank, Robert Sr., Joseph Sr. and Ronald Jendrusik.

Richard is survived by his three children, Richard Lee (Sarah) Jendrusik Jr., Bonnie (Jerry) Funkhouser, and Shawn (April) Jendrusik all of St. Clairsville, and three grandchildren, Samuel Jendrusik, Emma Jendrusik and Rebekah Jendrusik.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., with Rev. Dave St. Aubin.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
