Richard Wayne Eaton, 72, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center, St. Clairsville, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born October 23, 1952, in Bluefield, West Virginia, a son of the late Joseph W. and Russell Vada Puckett Eaton.

Richard worked for the United States Government Environmental Protection Agency. He retired from there after 42 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy (Mack) Bailey; and a sister in law, Hope Eaton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Marie Murphy Eaton; two children, Daniel (Ashley) and Katie Eaton; and six brothers, Roger (Brenda) Eaton, Robert (Sandra) Eaton, Larry (Helen) Eaton, Charles (Alice) Eaton, Bill "Frankie" Eaton, and Dan (Susan) Eaton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, April 7th, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville.
