Gibson, Richard D. "Hoot", 60, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died July 3, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born August 22, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia, a son of the late George B. Gibson and Marie Hazel Young Gibson.
He was an employee of Ogden News and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving is his sister, Joy Pempek of Lexington, Kentucky.
A private interment will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Westover, West Virginia.
