Richard Brian Brocklehurst Sr., 68, of Warnock, Ohio died August 13, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born September 8, 1952 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Frederick G. Brocklehurst and Celia Maxine Bumgardner Brocklehurst.

Rich was a retired miner from Ohio Valley Coal Company # 6 Mine. He was a 1971 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and later graduated from Belmont Technical College. Rich was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ellen Kimes Brocklehurst; a son, Richard B. Brocklehurst Jr.; two brothers, Fred J. (Linda) Brocklehurst and William (Cindy) Brocklehurst; nieces and nephews; and two granddogs, Baby and Princess.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
