Richard L. Ramsay, 76 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at his home.
He was born at Jacobsburg December 4, 1928 a son of the late Charles and Flora Sindeldecker Ramsay.
Rich was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel having worked for many years at the Benwood Plant and finishing as a security guard at the Duvall Center. He was a member of the Jacobsburg United Methodist Church, Weyer Lodge #541 F.& A.M. at Centerville and the True Sportsman?s Club of Jacobsburg.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Bob Ramsay and his sister Betty Johnson Brunner.
He is survived by his wife Rose Hennebert Ramsay; his daughters Pam (Harry) McClure of Beallsville, Ohio and Rhonda (Bob) Zimmerman of Chesterfield, Michigan; grandchildren Melissa (Matt) Mansuetto, Ben (Jennifer) Haines, Amy (Jason) Fisher; Matthew (Rebecca) Ferrell and Taite Ferrell; great grandchildren Tristan Ferrell, Emma Haines, Kaleb Ferrell, Samuel Haines, Sydney Mansuetto and baby girl Mansuetto.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. with Masonic services at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Michelle Lucarelli officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacobsburg Cemetery.
