Rebecca Lee "Becky" (Gooch) Wood, 79, of Mount Dora, FL passed away on July 11, 2023. She was born in Canton, OH and was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School in 1961. She moved to Mount Dora from Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 2016. Becky loved flowers and worked most of her life as a florist. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. Becky was a member of the Tavares Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, after 51 years of marriage. Becky is survived by her son, Steven (Barbara) Wood of Tampa, FL; and her siblings, Skip (Linda) Gooch of St. Clairsville, OH, Ginny (Jon) Deichler of Apopka, FL, Tim Gooch of Apopka and Kate Serig of Mount Dora.

A memorial service is being planned for the middle of August in Florida.
