Raymond Kenneth "Ame" Brooks, 97, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died March 25, 2025, at home.

He was born November 27, 1927, in Jacobsburg, a son of the late Sherman and Gertrude Harlan Brooks.

Ame was a farmer and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lawrence, Walter, Dave and Bob Brooks; and his sisters, Audrey Stillion, Mildred Rushin, Norma Peel, Edna Warren, and Ethel Rushin; a special nephew, Earl Brooks, nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his caregivers and family, Janice "Pie" Brooks, Anna Brooks (David) Cordery, Becky (Jubba) Majors, Blake Cordery, Wyatt and Walker Majors; many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Kris Bright officiating, at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio. The burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery.
