Hood, Raymond, 60 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Liza?s Place in Wheeling.

He was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio on March 18, 1950 a son of the late Maskrey "Mack" Hood and Freda Long Hood.

Ray was a service technician for Casto Technical Services and a member of American Legion Post 159 at St. Clairsville, the Polish Club at Fairpoint and the St. Clairsville Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jim Hood.

Surviving are his children, Wendy Conaway of Bridgeport; Brian Hood of Portsmouth, Ohio and Jeanna Hood of Glen Robbins; brothers, Don Hood of Martins Ferry and Jerry Hood of Florida; a granddaughter, Morgan Hood and grandsons, Chase and Noah Conaway.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from Noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

At Ray?s request there will be no funeral service and committal services will be private.
