Randy A. Tyrell, Sr., 64, of Flushing, OH died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH.  He was born August 12, 1956 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Charles Robert and G. Vivian Hughes Tyrell.

Randy was a former coal miner with Consol Coal Company and worked at Bridgeport Auto Parts.  He was a member of Old Wegee United Methodist Church of Shadyside, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Ross and Bethann Tyrell; a brother, Robert "Butch" Tyrell.

Surviving are his wife, Terri Brandon Tyrell of Flushing; two sons, Randy (Sarah) Tyrell, Jr. of Washington, PA and Jason (Abby) Tyrell of Newark, OH; a sister, Janet (Joe) Gray of Centerville, OH; four grandchildren, Lia, Jace, Rowan and Josie.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are required.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 9 am until time of service at 11 am at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.  Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
