Raymond "Ramone" Martinez, 64, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at his home.

Ramone worked at Belco Works in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Ramone was born on June 11, 1961, in Brooklyn New York, and he lived in Florida before moving to Ohio and settling in Shadyside, making it his home. He was well known around town and was often seen walking to local establishments and visiting friends.

Ramone loved to sing all kinds of music, laugh & joke with friends, play Yahtzee and spending time with the important people in his life. He never met a stranger, had a heart of gold, and he will be missed by many.

Special thanks to the staff from Paramount Support Services and Johnson Health for providing Ramone with the assistance he needed over the years and for the love and care provided to him during the past year and in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor of Victory Baptist Chapel and Chaplain for Stonerise Hospice Murray Stafford officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Toothman Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
