Ralph Robert "Bob" Palmer, 64, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at his home.
He was born June 20, 1951 in Barnesville, Ohio, a son of the late Robert and Roxie Marlin Palmer.
Bob was a retired truck driver and U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved to work on and collect old trucks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his soul mate, Patricia "Patty" Schmitt Palmer and his nephew, Justin Palmer.
Surviving are his three children, Rhonda Palmer, Bobby Palmer and Renee Palmer; two grandsons, Zack and Tyler; a great granddaughter, Amzie; four sisters, Vickie Palmer, Susan (Bill) Nesbitt, Robin (Jim) Stonbreaker, Sherri (John) Wells; four brothers, Paul Palmer, Joe Palmer, Skip (Frances) Palmer and Randy "Rudy" (Hilda) Palmer; nieces and nephews; a friend, Leroy Carpenter and Dick Charbono.
Private services held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
Donations to assist the family may be sent to the funeral home.
