Ralph D. Kinzy, age 88, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was born August 7, 1916 at Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late Forrest and Ada Dennis Kinzy.

He was a retired paint contractor and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church at St. Clairsville.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Bumgarner Kinzy; and a brother, Herbert Kinzy.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Kinzy of St. Clairsville and Donald Kinzy of Batesville, Arkansas; two brothers, Lowell Kinzy of Bridgeport, Ohio and Harold Kinzy of Berea, Ohio; three sisters, Valta Giffin of St. Clairsville, Annie Couch of Sandusky, Ohio and Mary Kaptein of Dublin, Ohio; four grandchildren, Scott and Brad Kinzy, Jennifer Saulpaugh and Alan Kinzy; four great grandchildren, Brooke and Joshua Saulpaugh, Kate and Alan Kinzy.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2004 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Kim Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
