Obituary

Ralph F. Clark, age 85, of Lloydsville, Ohio, died Sunday, January 19, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was born on June 27, 1917 in High Ridge, Ohio, son of the late Harvey Hugh Clark and Elizabeth McGraw Clark.

Ralph was a retired employee from Ohio Edison?s R. E. Berger Plant; former co-owner of Clark?s IGA at Lloydsville and a former coal miner. He was a member of the Lloydsville United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey M. Clark; five brothers, Russell Clark, Robert Clark, Arthur Clark, Ray Clark and Earl Clark; and four sisters, Elsie Clark, Annie DePoy, Rena Kettlewell and Margaret Adams.

Surviving are his son, Wayne Clark of Lloydsville; his daughter, Beverly McCort of St. Clairsville; three grandchildren, Melissa McCort Joyce, Arthur I. McCort and Stephanie L. Clark; and four great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kim Anderson officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
