Rachael Jean Tomich, age 44, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023 at Liza's Place, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wheeling, WV, Rachael loved the outdoors, music and family. She attended The Ohio State University and then Hocking College where she earned a degree in the field of archaeology. Rachael spent many years traveling the country working on archeological digs.  Beautiful, intelligent, witty, outgoing and down to earth, Rachael was a person that naturally drew others to her and will be dearly missed by all those who love her.

She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Tomich of Jacobsburg, OH; sister Julianne Tomich of Lake Stevens, WA; sister Megan Tomich of Midland, MI; sister Katie Khamsoucksaly of Shadyside, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father Matthew Tomich and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio.
