Obituary
Robert Carl Taylor, 77 of Uniontown, Ohio died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born at Uniontown on November 30, 1927 a son of the late William Carl and Otie May Swann Taylor.
He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Teamsters Union and was a Navy veteran of World War II. While serving in the Navy he accompanied Admiral Byrd on his expedition to the South Pole.
Private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Unity Cemetery, New Athens. Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville is in charge of arrangements.
