Phyllis Jean Staso, 86, of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Sykesville, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.  She was born July 26, 1937 in Wise County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Doyle and Macile Mullins.

Phyllis was a retired employee of the former Montgomery Ward Store and a Catholic by faith.  She was a graduate of Weirton High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George John Staso on April 26, 2022; a sister, Lou Mullins.

Surviving are two brothers, Ercel and Curtis Mullins; two sisters, Ruth Ann Parrish and Helen Conners; many nieces and nephews.

Private visitation will be held for the family with Msgr. George Coyne officiating.  Burial in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
