Phyllis "Jeannie" (McLaughlin) Bradac died March 10, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born in Frametown, West Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents, James N. and Virgie Mae Duckworth McLaughlin, a sister Lillian Alice King and brother-in-law, Ernest King.
Jean is survived by her husband, John J. Bradac; a brother, Clyde Wesley McLaughlin and his companion Betty Cox of New Philadelphia, OH; a nephew, Scott (Amber) McLaughlin of Findlay, OH; nieces, Tammy Lynn Lowry of Frametown, WV and Melissa Renee Sours of Tiffin, OH; great nieces, Anna Blair Lowry and Taylor Renee Sours, Ava Shae McLaughlin and Brynlee Rae McLaughlin; great nephews, Logan James Sours and Easton Scott McLaughlin; and a sister-in-law, Alfreda Zadell.
Jean graduated from Gassaway High School in Gassaway WV. She was retired from C. & P. Telephone Company in Charleston, WV. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport, OH; a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas; the Telephone Company Pioneers and the American Legion Auxiliary at Post 159 in St. Clairsville.
At Jeannie's request there will be no visitation. Services will be at the convenience of the family, with Father John Mucha officiating and burial in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
