Obituary
Phillip E. "Phil" Loweecy, Sr., 80 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Trinity West in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born September 9, 1928 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Abraham Loweecy and Ida Coury Loweecy.
Phil was a retired truck driver for Tri-State Asphalt in Martins Ferry and a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Ringel Loweecy; three children, LeeAnn (Glenn) Forsyth of Pittsburgh, Phillip E. Loweecy, II of Cincinnati, and Keri (Darren) Schroeder of Columbus; a brother, Joseph "Joe" Laweecy of Martins Ferry; six grandchildren, Sean and Alison Forsyth, Brittany, Debera, and Taylor Schroeder, and Greyson Loweecy who resides with his grandparents.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon with Father Bradley Greer and Pastor Neil McFarland officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
