Obituary

Phillip Paul "Bud" Hines, 82, of Shadyside, OH passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at his home.  He was born December 6, 1940, in Jacobsburg, OH., a son of the late William E. and Della F. Parker Hines.

Bud was the former owner/operator of Hines & Sons Construction Company and a former minister of the Living Water Fellowship Church in Quaker City, OH for 25 years.  Bud was a graduate of the Church of God Ministry School (MIP) and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Bill Hines; four sisters, Doris Slack, Gertrude Martin, Sylvia Passmore and Mary Weekley.

Surviving are his loving wife, whom he married in December of 1960, Patricia Ainsworth Hines of Shadyside; his children, Todd (Dana) Hines of Key, OH., Holly (Bill) Burmeier of Dallas, TX., and Darren (Lisa) Hines of Key; four grandchildren, Bruce (Stacy) Hines, Shawna (Todd) Coyne, Courtney Tucker and Colton Burmeier; six great grandchildren, Austin, Aubree, Andy, Giovanna, Adrianna and Quentin; a sister, Lucille Regoli of St. Joe, OH; a brother, Gary Hines of Dade City, FL.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg.  Visitation again will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 pm at Church Alive with services at 2 pm with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.
