Obituary
Rushin, Pete, 61 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his home.
He was born September 9, 1951 at Powhatan Point, Ohio, a son of Ethel Brooks Rushin of Barnesville, Ohio and the late Daniel Rushin.
Pete was a retired coal miner from North American Coal and Consolidation Coal.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Dave Sherman Rushin.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are two sons, Daniel Rushin of Marysville, CA., and Gary Rushin of Jacobsburg; mother of his children, Judy Rushin of Waynesburg, PA; three brothers, Walter (Ruth) Rushin of Jerusalem, OH, Stanley Rushin of Barnesville, and John (Audrey) Rushin of New Athens, OH; a sister, Ruth Ann Johnson of Barnesville; close friend, Eugene Robertson of Jacobsburg; three grandchildren, Heather, D.J., and Serenity; three great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with Pete's medical expenses and sent to Gary Rushin, 57521 Dover Church Rd., Jacobsburg, Ohio 43933
