Obituary

Gazdik, Peter F. "Pete", 63, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Friday, November 9, 2007 at his home.

He was born January 7, 1944 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Pete A. and Ann H. Tomolonis Gazdik.

Pete was a retired owner and operator of the Bargain House in St. Clairsville, a former employee of North American Coal Company and a former employee of Bryers Ice Cream in Florida. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Gazdik.

Surviving are his wife, Kim Gazdik; a son, Edward Gazdik; a daughter, Carol Gazdik of St. Clairsville; a brother, Ron Gazdik and his wife Grace of Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Lou "Lynn" Velkovich of Shadyside and Mrs. Rich "Cindy" Maleski of Bridgeport; and a sister-in-law Rae Gazdik of Shadyside; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Father Anthony R. Batt officiating. There will be Full Military Honors held at 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home by the Belmont County Council of American Legions. Burial will follow at Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
