Penny Jo Ramsay (Davolio) passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2022. A resident of Jacobsburg, Ohio. Penny was born in Bellaire, Ohio on January 10,1956 to Dominick Davolio and Elda Mae Davolio (Albaugh).

Penny was a 1974 graduate of Bellaire High School and a graduate of Belmont Technical College School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse (RN) for over 30 years.  During her time as a nurse, she worked at various regional hospitals throughout the valley including Bellaire Hospital, Ohio Valley Medical Center and held many roles including house supervisor and managed several physician practices for East Ohio Regional Hospital.  Penny was a licensed RN in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. She was proud to be a nurse and loved caring for those in need.

Penny's number one priority in life was her family and became the family matriarch upon the passing of her mother, Elda Mae Davolio. She would, and did do anything for her family, friends and any one in need.  Her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Alexandra, who referred to Penny as Moma Nana.

She also had a deep love and passion for boating and owned second home in Senecaville, Ohio where she and her husband, Dale, along with members of the Davolio family, spent countless hours boating, campfires and enjoying family time.  She was also an avid snow skier, gardener and loved hiking in the mountains.

Dale and Penny were united in marriage on March 15, 1975 in St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio. Penny has been a lifelong member of St. John's Catholic Church, was a devout Catholic and devoted a lot of time to her faith.

Penny was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her mother, Elda Mae Davolio (Albaugh). She is survived by her father, Dominick Davolio, Jr; husband, Dale Ramsay; daughter, Michele Ramsay; daughter Renea Ramsay; granddaughter, Alexandra Will; her siblings; Michael Davolio (Lee Ann); Joan Busby (Charlie); Dom Davolio (Susan) and Mark Davolio (Carol).

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire on Wednesday, March 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with Father Daniel Heusel the celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire or the Belmont United Presbyterian Church on Key Ridge.
