Carpenter, Peggy Ann, 51 of Bridgeport, Ohio died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born October 13, 1962 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of Sonia Fisher Carpenter Gansler and the late Marvin H. Carpenter.
Peggy was a former nurses aide for VOCA Home Health.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Sonia and Allen Gansler of St. Clairsville; sisters, Pam (Dan) Paden of Kimbolton, Ohio, and Patty Carpenter of Johnson City, VA; step brother, Allen Gansler Jr.; step sisters, Susan Kurucz, and Deborah Gillispie; nephews, Brent Frasher, Shawn and Dustin Milliken; a niece, Kristin Carpenter; uncles, Brent (Sue) Fisher, Vallas (Helen) Carpenter, John (Roseann) Carpenter of Barnesville; aunt, Melva Howell of Barnesville.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Fr. Michael Gossett officiating.
Burial follows in Center Cemetery, Center, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 115, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
Peggy's family wishes to extend special thanks to her Maxim nurses and home health aides for the excellent care she received.
