Pauletta "Polly" Esposito, 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died June 17, 2022, in Forest Hill Nursing Home.

She was born January 24, 1942, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Richard Johnson and Pearl Johnson Heatherington.

Polly was a caregiver for the elderly and former employee of Cox Security in Wheeling. She was a member of the United Wesleyan Church in Bellaire.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George William Barthlow; two grandsons, Richard and Randolph Barthlow; and a sister, Marian Ann Pomeroy.

Polly is survived by her daughter, Media Lee Carpenter (Glen Newland) of St. Clairsville; a foster child, Robin Lester of Texas; several other foster children; five sisters, Ruth Dawson of Akron, Jackie Johnson of Bellaire, Vickie Hemsley and Mickey Shubuck both of Pennsylvania, and Dixie Moore of North Carolina; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Honoring Polly's wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
